Whether you are new kindergartener or a veteran entering a post-secondary program, our network of K-12 District Military Family Education Coordinators and post-secondary Veterans Benefits Coordinators are standing by to assist you along your educational journey.

Looking for a military-supportive school?

The Arkansas Department of Education encourages educational institutions at all levels to develop programs and environments that actively support military families and students. Institutions must meet high standards in order to earn the Arkansas Purple Star.

K-12 Purple Star Schools and Districts, including private schools, are called Purple Star Schools. Post-secondary institutions, including community colleges and technical schools, are known as Purple Star Campuses. Click the graphic below to learn more.
